“We are grateful to the Sun Capital Partners Foundation for their continued support and this generous donation, 100 per cent of which will fund clean water projects in Ethiopia,” says Scott Harrison, CEO and Founder of charity: water. “Access to clean and safe drinking water changes everything, and this gift will make a transformative impact on the lives of thousands of people in need.” Sun Capital Partners Foundation’s prior donations to charity: water have helped fund three projects in Northern Ethiopia, bringing clean water to approximately 775 people.

“Through our investment in Ethiopia-based Afriflora, the world’s largest grower of roses, we have direct knowledge of the challenges that the country faces with reliable sources of clean water,” adds Leder. “This is an especially meaningful philanthropic partnership as we are excited to support great causes in the communities where we invest.”

Leder and Rodger R Krouse, founders of Sun Capital Partners, started Sun Capital Partners Foundation with the belief that success brings with it a responsibility to make a difference in local communities. By supporting innovative non-profit organisations, The Foundation aims to fulfil its mission of promoting sustainable and positive change.
