ABRT backs Limpid in fight against Covid-19

ABRT VC has committed USD10 million to support startups providing solutions to the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic and has backed the Limpid platform in the fight against Covid-19.Limpid (limpid.vc) is a global startup sourcing and pipeline management platform that streamlines fundraising for both venture capital investors and startup companies. Limpid is designed to unify decision making for VC investors and shorten the time for startups to get funded.

“We see an emerging opportunity in supporting startups that address challenges brought about by COVID-19. That’s why we’ve backed Limpid to source the best COVID-related startups and co-invest in these companies together with the leading VCs,” says Nick Mitushin, ABRT’s Chief Investment Officer.

Limpid already accepts applications from virtual school, collaboration, productivity, video streaming, and conferencing services, as well as from messaging, online healthcare, and ed-tech startups.

Limpid has partnered with more than 20 global VC funds and investment banks.

ABRT (abrt.vc) was established by Veeam’s founders Andrei Baronov and Ratmir Timashev who recently sold their cloud data management software company to Insight Partners in a multi-billion dollar deal.

ABRT has made over 30 investments in 22 companies with the Tier-1 VCs and jointly organised events and programs to promote the best startups.
