SCIO Capital announces Advisory Board members

SCIO Capital (SCIO), a London-based direct lender specialising in European secured private credit, has appointed three professionals to its newly-founded advisory board.

The creation of the advisory board follows the May launch of SCIO’s most recent closed ended- fund offering, SCIO European Secured Credit Fund III. The board will advise SCIO’s senior management on strategy, market trends, business development and governance.

SCIO’s founding Advisory Board members are:

Before CIFC, Oliver also held senior positions at Providence Equity Partners, Sciens Capital Management, GoldenTree Asset Management, Deutsche Bank and NORD/LB. Oliver received a BA in History and Economics from Duke University.
• Ganesh Rajendra, a Managing Partner of Integer Advisors, an independent regulated investment advisory firm focused on specialty credit opportunities. Before joining RBS, Ganesh also held senior positions at Janus Henderson Investors and Deutsche Bank. Ganesh is a graduate of Actuarial Mathematics from the London School of Economics and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
• Carole Sanz-Paris, the Head of Debt Capital Markets & Structured Finance at IDB Invest, the private sector arm of the Inter-American Development Bank Group. Prior to IDB, Carole worked at Moody’s Investors Service, acting as rating committee chairperson for European securitized products, at Deutsche Bank as a director of European securitisation research and JPMorgan as a fixed income structurer. ‘It’s an honour to welcome the inaugural members of our advisory board, each of whom will bring invaluable experience and knowledge to SCIO’ says Greg Branch, SCIO’s Co-Founding Partner and Chief Investment Officer. ‘It’s been my pleasure to work closely with each of them in the past, and I am confident that the skills and insights these distinguished individuals will provide SCIO as advisors will prove instrumental to our continued growth and ambitious plans going forward.’
