SCIO Capital announces Advisory Board members

SCIO Capital (SCIO), a London-based direct lender specialising in European secured private credit, has appointed three professionals to its newly-founded advisory board.The creation of the advisory board follows the May launch of SCIO’s most recent closed ended- fund offering, SCIO European Secured Credit Fund III. The board will advise SCIO’s senior management on strategy, market trends, business development and governance.

SCIO’s founding Advisory Board members are:

• Oliver Wriedt, the founder of HighKey Catalyst LLC, an investment company providing both capital and expertise to emerging private asset managers. Most recently, Oliver was CEO of New-York based DFG Investment Advisers where he oversaw day-to-day management of the $7bn firm. Prior to DFG, Oliver served as co-CEO of CIFC Asset Management, a $26bn credit platform. Before CIFC, Oliver also held senior positions at Providence Equity Partners, Sciens Capital Management, GoldenTree Asset Management, Deutsche Bank and NORD/LB. Oliver received a BA in History and Economics from Duke University.
• Ganesh Rajendra, a Managing Partner of Integer Advisors, an independent regulated investment advisory firm focused on specialty credit opportunities. Prior to co-founding Integer Advisors, Ganesh led the fixed income credit and securitised product strategy team at RBS in London for seven years. Before joining RBS, Ganesh also held senior positions at Janus Henderson Investors and Deutsche Bank. Ganesh is a graduate of Actuarial Mathematics from the London School of Economics and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
• Carole Sanz-Paris, the Head of Debt Capital Markets & Structured Finance at IDB Invest, the private sector arm of the Inter-American Development Bank Group. Prior to IDB, Carole worked at Moody’s Investors Service, acting as rating committee chairperson for European securitized products, at Deutsche Bank as a director of European securitisation research and JPMorgan as a fixed income structurer. Carole earned an Executive MBA (distinction) from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, a MSc in Polymer Materials from Cranfield University and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Université de Technologie de Compiègne.
