Fortunis Capital appoints director

UK impact investor Fortunis Capital has appointed Saket Narula as a Director.

Saket joins Fortunis from Amadeus Capital Partners where as part of the firm’s senior management team he headed investor relations and was also responsible for fundraising for Amadeus’ multi-strategy venture capital funds.

Saket supports Fortunis Capital’s mission to invest in innovators who make a positive difference to the world, while delivering outstanding returns to investors.

Saket comes with an outstanding track record in the global investment sector.
Prior to Amadeus, he was a Director with the Anchor Group in London and Geneva advising and investing in direct and fund-based private market investments for Anchor’s institutional clients.

Saket has also worked at Credit Suisse in the investment banking division in London working in the financial sponsors and leveraged finance team, where he was responsible for underwriting and executing leveraged buyouts for private equity clients in EMEA. 

Saket began his career in the US in investment banking, focusing on high yield and leveraged acquisition finance for US corporates and M&A transactions.

He has lived and worked in India and the US and studied systems engineering at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA, together with business administration from the McIntire School of Commerce. 

Saket is a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs – Chatham House and is pursuing a part-time MSc. Public Policy and Management from King’s College London with a focus on social entrepreneurship and technology policy. He speaks fluent English and Hindi and is proficient in French.

Fortunis Capital have made headline investments in a number of innovators, including Stemson, the San-Diego based biotech pioneering stem cell research into a cure for hair loss and Clementine, the hypnotherapy wellness app.
