As part of its wider strategic growth programme Enterprize Energy has bolstered its experienced specialist and diverse teams with the hiring of three senior financial executives.
Nuta Chen has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, based in Taiwan. David Houlton joins in the role of Business Advisor and Economic Modeller and Woon Soon as Financial Consultant. The trio join during an upward trajectory in the company’s growth and will play key roles in its mission to provide nations and communities with a clean, renewable, and independent energy future.
Chen brings nearly two decades of experience in Taiwan and Thailand’s renewable energy industries, specialising in operational accounting, project financing and M&A. Prior to joining Enterprize Energy, Chen was Finance Director at Maiora Renewable Energy and CFO at Ciel & Terre in Taiwan. She has worked for global financial institutions and multinational companies, including JPMorgan, Fidelity, PwC and Foxconn.
Houlton will be responsible for combining modelling and business advisory to create, specify and manage the optimal model. He holds 30 years of senior finance experience including board advisory and financial modelling for infrastructure and real estate. Prior to joining Enterprize Energy, Houlton held positions at BNY Mellon, Deutsche Bank, DWS and Citibank.
Woon Soon brings over ten years of experience in multinational organisations to his role as Financial Consultant. A skilled accountant specialising in the discovery, analysis and reporting of key financial data, he previously had roles at companies including Shell Business Operation and Ernst & Young.
Enterprize Energy, which brings innovative, international thinking, grounded in multi-sector expertise to the challenges defining the energy transition, has recently announced the installation of Vietnam’s first floating lidar survey at the 3.4GW Thang Long offshore project – the only large-scale offshore wind farm to be granted a survey licence by the Vietnamese government. The first 600MW phase of the 3.4GW Thang Long offshore wind farm is to come online by the end of 2025, with further phases developed on a rolling basis.
