Lewis & Clark Capital appoints MD

Lewis & Clark Capital, a St Louis-based private equity firm investing the capital of its Managing Partner, Tom Hillman, has promoted Jeff Connell to Managing Director. 

Connell will continue to play an operating role at Ovation Holdings, a diversified process and flow control solutions provider, and FTL Finance, a specialty finance business.
 
Since joining Lewis & Clark Capital in 2015, Connell has been an integral part of the Lewis & Clark Capital investment leadership team. “Through his leadership, Ovation Holdings has grown from a single location into 12 facilities spanning the Central region of the US with over 500 per cent growth,” says Tom Hillman. “Similarly, his growth strategy and execution helped transform FTL Finance into a national HVAC specialty finance industry leader.”
 
Prior to joining Lewis & Clark, Connell was the Director at Triton Capital Partners, where he raised capital, advised on mergers and acquisitions and lead turnaround and restructuring engagements. He has spent his entire career in the middle market and has advised over 50 companies in numerous industries including manufacturing, distribution, and financial services.  
 
Jeff received his Bachelor of Science and Business Administration in Industrial Distribution Management from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Jeff is a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) and member of the Turnaround Management Association.
