AssetMetrix opens branch office in Luxembourg and hires Head of Business Development Luxembourg, Belgium and France

AssetMetrix has opened a branch office in Luxembourg with Alexander Wedlich joining as Head of Business Development Luxembourg, Belgium and France. 

AssetMetrix has opened a branch office in Luxembourg with Alexander Wedlich joining as Head of Business Development Luxembourg, Belgium and France. 

Wedlich will be heading the newly created base in Luxembourg and AssetMetrix’ activities to support rapid growth in Europe and a greater focus on Asset Servicers. 

AssetMetrix has recently been accepted as a member of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) as well as the Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LPEA) further highlighting AssetMetrix’ aim to actively contribute to the private equity and real estate ecosystem in Luxembourg.

Wedlich has been working in capital markets for two decades, with more than 10 years providing asset management servicing to alternative and mainstream funds across the value chain. He spent the last years setting up and managing a regtech service provider in Luxembourg, previously having developed the asset management service offering to financial institutions at Credit Suisse between 2016 and 2019. Prior to that he held various senior positions, including at RBC Investor & Treasury Services, CACEIS Bank Luxembourg SA, Clearstream Banking SA – Deutsche Boerse Group and BNY Mellon.
