K2 Global raises $300m for food tech, climate tech and AI investments

K2 Global, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage technology companies, has raised $300 million in committed capital to invest in promising technology start-ups in the food tech, climate tech and AI sectors. 

K2 Global, which is led by investor Ozi Amanat, has previously backed Uber, Spotify, Airbnb, Coinbase, Warby Parker, Impossible Foods, Oatly, Allbirds, Palantir, Scopely, and Paytm. Its investments include 18 IPOs to date.

Founded in 2015, K2 Global is one of the world’s largest solo venture capitalists. Along with providing capital, the firm will support start-ups to expand globally by helping them navigate foreign markets utilising its strategic partners, and limited partners.
