Main Capital Partners (Main) has acquired a majority stake in two Dutch software companies – BCS, a human resource management (HRM) and payroll software provider, and Pro4all, a construction software specialist.
The new acquisitions will be developed into international market leaders within their respective software segments through various strategies, like autonomous growth, strategic add-on acquisitions and expanding the product portfolio’s. Main’s strategic aim is to build leading European software companies with a crucial role in society, in markets such as (among others) healthcare, government, e-learning, data security, human capital management, finance and the housing and construction market.
With BCS, Main strengthens its foothold in the HRM market following investments, such as Perbility (HR software) in Germany, SDB (HR payroll solutions for healthcare institutions) and Textkernel (AI software for HR) in the Netherlands and Assessio (e-assessment tools and talent management) in Sweden.
Through the strategic partnership with Pro4all, Main strengthens its position in the wider housing and construction software market. Preceding investments within this vertical include facility management software company Axxerion (sold to the Nemetschek Group in 2019), location intelligence software group LOCATIQS (recently sold to Sogelink) and PropTech company Zig, backed by Main in 2021.
