Global Investment firm KKR & Co Inc (KKR.N) has secured capital commitments of around $2.1 billion for its first asset-based fund, according to a report by Reuters.
The new fund has attracted new and existing investors, including public and corporate pensions, sovereign wealth funds and commercial banks, on the look out for collateral-based cash flows with attractive yields to beat market volatility.
KKR has also invested around $150 million in the new fund which will aim to provide capital to global private credit instruments backed by financial and hard assets.
