Apex Group has supported Pricoa Private Capital’s (Pricoa) provision of senior capital to Real Betis Balompié for the refinancing of the Spanish La Liga football club. Pricoa is part of PGIM, the principal asset management business of Prudential Financial, Inc.
Real Betis, which is based in the southern Spanish city of Seville, will use the funding to improve its capital structure and refinance existing debt with a single, long-term capital partner.
In January 2023, Pricoa provided the Club with a €65 million senior secured term loan.
