Los Angeles-based private equity firm Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP) has sold its portfolio company SK AeroSafety (SK) to Bridgepoint, a global private equity firm. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Wokingham, UK, SK is a global provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul services for aircraft safety equipment. Originally part of SK FireSafety Group, the company has developed into an independent provider of aircraft safety testing, inspection and maintenance services through organic growth initiatives and a series of strategic international acquisitions. The company operates in 14 fully integrated facilities across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

The sale of SK AeroSafety marks LLCP’s 17th exit since March 2020 and represents the final investment in the firm’s Levine Leichtman Capital Partners Europe vehicle.

Houlihan Lokey served as financial advisor and Willkie Farr & Gallagher served as LLCP’s legal counsel in connection with the transaction. Management was advised by Liberty Corporate Finance and Addleshaw Goddard.
