Hunter Point Capital (HPC), an independent investment firm providing capital solutions to alternative asset managers, has promoted Conway Bate and Melvin Hibberd to Global Head of Capital Formation and Chief Investment Officer, respectively.
As Global Head of Capital Formation, Bate will lead HPC’s capital formation group, which she has helped build since joining the firm in 2022. The group is responsible for capital raising at HPC and providing related counsel and support to the firm’s GP partners. Bate previously served as the group’s Chief Operating Officer.
As Chief Investment Officer, Hibberd will oversee HPC’s investments across the firm’s GP stakes and GPFS platforms as well as HPC’s overall investment strategy, processes and portfolio construction. Since joining HPC in 2021 as a Managing Director and Head of the investment team, Hibberd has helped facilitate many of the firm’s investments.
