New York-based middle-market private equity firm Argand Partners has announced a series of senior promotions and a key leadership appointment, elevating Charlie Burns to Partner, naming David Faiman as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Portfolio Operations, and promoting Ford Harrington, Hanan Hassan, and Gerald Lizzo to Principal, Vice President, and Senior Associate, respectively.
Burns, previously a Managing Director, is reported as having played a critical role in overseeing portfolio companies Sigma Engineered Solutions and PolyShield Group, while also contributing to firmwide recruiting and management. In 2021, he relocated to San Francisco, becoming the second Argand team member based in the region.
Faiman, a longtime investor in Argand’s funds and a member of the firm’s Senior Executive Advisors since inception, brings deep experience in private equity-backed businesses. His career includes CFO roles at three private equity-owned companies, senior finance leadership at two others, and a tenure as CFO of a public company. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he earned his CPA.
Harrington, promoted to Principal, joined the firm as Vice President in 2022 and has been instrumental in supporting portfolio company Oase while also contributing to multiple pending transactions.
Hassan, now Vice President, has been with Argand since 2021, working closely with portfolio companies Oase and Sigma Engineered Solutions. She will also take on an expanded role in investor relations.
Lizzo has been promoted to Senior Associate after two years of strong performance at the firm.
Argand Partners maintains offices in the San Francisco Bay Area and Miami.
