Carlyle to sell Calastone to SS&C Technologies

Global investment firm Carlyle has agreed to sell Calastone, a global funds network and a provider of technology solutions to the wealth and asset management industry, to SS&C Technologies Holdings.

Founded in 2007 and headquartered in London, Calastone connects over 4,500 clients in 57 countries and territories, enabling greater market efficiency, automation and risk reduction for the investment industry.

Its global network supports the evolving needs of asset and wealth managers, including in emerging areas such as tokenised investment funds.

With the support of Carlyle during its ownership period, Calastone has delivered material growth and strategic diversification by expanding its international footprint, investing in and enhancing its product suite to address ETFs and digital investments through tokenisation, strengthening its sales leadership, and realising efficiency gains across the business.

The transaction is expected to close in Q4 2025 and is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
