Vector Capital to acquire Showpad

Vector Capital, a US-based private equity firm focused on transformational investments in established technology businesses, has agreed to acquire Showpad, a global provider of AI-driven revenue enablement solutions headquartered in Chicago and Ghent, Belgium.

Showpad supports sales and marketing alignment for enterprises across more than 50 countries, with a customer base that includes global brands such as Coca-Cola, Dow, DuPont, GE Healthcare, Kaiser Permanente and Schneider Electric.

The company has been recognised as a leader in several categories of The Forrester Wave™ and holds a “Customers’ Choice” designation on Gartner® Peer Insights™ for revenue enablement platforms.

Following the close of the transaction, Vector Capital intends to merge Showpad with Bigtincan Holdings, which it acquired in April 2025. The combined business will operate under the Showpad brand and will deliver a comprehensive AI-powered revenue enablement offering spanning the full buyer-seller engagement lifecycle. The integration will create a globally scaled platform with expanded geographic reach and enhanced R&D capabilities.

Bigtincan is a five-time leader in The Aragon Research Globe™ for Sales Enablement Platforms and is widely recognised for its innovation in AI-driven sales technology. Its client portfolio includes over 1,000 companies, such as Abbott, AT&T, Clorox, Merck, and Winnebago, including more than 100 Fortune 500 enterprises.

Insight Partners, a major existing investor in Showpad, will roll over its entire investment into the newly combined entity.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Completion is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals, and is expected in 2025.
