MiddleGround Capital, a Kentucky-based PE firm managing over $4.1bn, has appointed Tim Curley as Managing Director, Exits & Realizations, joining the firm’s New York office to oversee exit strategies and portfolio monetisation initiatives.
Curley will lead the preparation and execution of exit processes, support co-investment initiatives, and work with portfolio company management teams to maximise value at the point of sale.
Curley brings 18 years of investment banking experience from BMO Capital Markets, where he advanced from Analyst to Managing Director and helped build the Industrials Investment Banking team. He advised public companies, PE-backed businesses, and family-owned firms on M&A, capital raises, and strategic financings.
MiddleGround Capital focuses on operationally-driven control investments in middle-market B2B industrial and specialty distribution companies across North America and Europe.
