Sentinel sells NSI’s HVAC arm to Lennox for $550m

Private equity outfit Sentinel Capital Partners has agreed to sell the HVAC division of NSI Industries to Lennox International in a cash deal worth approximately $550m, according to a report by Reuters.

Following the divestment, NSI will refocus its operations on its core electrical components lines, retaining brands such as Bridgeport, Polaris, and Tork.  Sentinel originally acquired NSI Industries, which supplies electrical components across the US and Canada, in November 2024 for an undisclosed price.

The deal underscores continuing consolidation in the HVAC and building-products space, as firms look to refocus on their core operations.
