Private equity investor Advent International has appointed Maxine Brenner as an Operating Partner. In this role, Brenner will work with Advent’s investment professionals and portfolio company leadership teams. Brenner brings over 30 years of experience as a senior executive across a range of sectors.
She currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Brambles, Telstra, and Woolworths Group. She has previously held Non-Executive Director roles with Origin Energy, Qantas Airways, Orica, Growthpoint Properties, and Federal Airports Corporation, and earlier in her career was Managing Director of Investment Banking at Investec Bank, a corporate lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills, and a member of the Australian Takeovers Panel.
Her experience includes guiding companies through transformation, industry change, digitisation, key capital market events, and major transactions. She will advise Advent’s leadership and portfolio companies on strengthening governance frameworks, accelerating performance, driving technology transformation, and managing growth in complex operating environments.
