Oak Hill Capital to acquire Guild Garage Group

Oak Hill Capital has agreed to acquire garage door repair and replacement business Guild Garage Group, in a deal valued at more than $800m, according to a report by Reuters citing people familiar with the matter.

Guild, which launched in 2024, has completed nearly 30 acquisitions of residential-focused garage door services companies across the US. The business reportedly generates more than $300m in annual revenue and close to $50m in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA).

The company was founded by Jordan Dubin, Joe Delaney, and Sean Slazyk, who previously worked together at consumer-focused private equity firm L Catterton. The trio launched the platform after leaving the firm, allowing acquired businesses to retain operational autonomy while benefiting from shared scale and resources.

Oak Hill Capital, based in New York, is a middle-market private equity firm that has raised more than $25bn in initial capital commitments and co-investments since its founding.
