TDR Capital explores sale of UK private credit manager Arrow Global

TDR Capital is weighing strategic options for UK private credit manager Arrow Global, including a potential sale, as the private markets investor assesses its options for the business, according to a report by Bloomberg.

The report cites unnamed people familiar with the matter as revealing that the London-based private equity firm is working with Goldman Sachs on the review. Discussions are at an early stage though, and TDR could ultimately decide to retain the asset, the people said.

TDR, Arrow Global and Goldman Sachs declined to comment.

TDR acquired Arrow in 2021 through a take-private transaction that valued the company’s equity at approximately £563m ($761m).

Founded by Zach Lewy in 2005, Arrow is headquartered in London and focuses on alternative credit opportunities, including higher-yielding and more complex asset classes such as European non-performing loans.

The business has since developed beyond its investment activities, operating a third-party fund management platform and expanding into real estate lending.

Arrow manages or services approximately €125bn ($144bn) of assets, according to information published by the company.
