Holland Private Equity’s first fund reaches EUR40m

Holland Private Equity has held a first closing of Holland Private Equity Technology Fund I, its first fund, at EUR40m.

Holland Private Equity has held a first closing of Holland Private Equity Technology Fund I, its first fund, at EUR40m.
 
The fund focuses on late stage growth investments in small and mid-cap technology companies.
 
First closing investors include technology entrepreneurs and executives, institutional investors and family offices.
 
The Fund aims to invest in approximately ten companies over the next few years.
 
With a second closing later this year and the final closing in summer 2009 the fund has a target size of EUR150m.
 
Hans van Ierland, co-managing partner of Holland Private Equity, says: ‘With the current market and economic downturn we are expecting an increase in the number of interesting investment opportunities at attractive valuation levels and we are confident that our industry expertise and patient investment approach will deliver superior returns.’
