Albion Ventures has invested GBP8.7m in Radnor House School, a new co-educational independent school for students aged seven to 18 in Twickenham, South West London.
Radnor House is located on the historic site of Alexander Pope’s villa on the banks of the River Thames.
Albion Ventures identified a market opportunity to purchase the freehold premises and develop a new co-educational independent school with a strong ethos and focus on educational excellence.
Radnor House will open in September 2011.
Albion Ventures was attracted to the opportunity due to the strong demand for independent secondary education in the area, the strong cash generative nature of the investment as well as the experienced and well rounded management team.
