Crosslink Capital closes Crossover Fund VI at USD320m

Crosslink Capital, a venture capital and growth equity firm, has closed Crossover Fund VI at USD320m, bringing the firm’s capital under management to USD1.8bn.

Crossover VI will mirror the strategy of its predecessor funds by integrating both private growth equity and long/short public equity investments in a single fund.

Crossover Fund VI will be actively invested through 30 April 2018. Six per cent of the total funding has been committed by Crosslink’s general partners and employees.

“The Crossover strategy is one that’s unique to Crosslink,” says Michael Stark (pictured), founder and general partner of Crosslink Capital. “The private-public hybrid structure is a tremendous advantage. It is fully integrated and provides significant investment process-related synergies. We have successfully invested in this fashion for many years, yet the model still proves difficult for others to replicate. It has provided high relative rates of return through a variety of market cycles, including periods of both strong and weak venture capital and private equity investment returns.”
