glendonTodd closes merger between Aztec Systems and Toutatis Client Services do Brasil

glendonTodd Capital, a Dallas-based private equity firm, has closed its previously announced merger of Aztec Systems and Toutatis Client Services do Brasil, including foreign affiliated operating entities.

Both Aztec and Toutatis are glendonTodd portfolio companies.

This merger creates a multinational business process and information technology outsourcing firm with more than 1,000 clients in 13 countries and territories throughout the Americas. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The new combined company, Toutatis Aztec Solutions (TAS), is based in Dallas and offers services including human resources outsourcing, finance and accounting outsourcing, procurement outsourcing, information technology outsourcing, and data hosting services to a growing list of middle market and multinational customers across the Americas.

Aztec, a glendonTodd portfolio company, is a full service information technology outsourcing (ITO) firm that was recently ranked the 27th largest value-added reseller and is a Microsoft Gold Partner. Headquartered in Dallas, Aztec has six offices across Texas and Oklahoma.

Toutatis, a glendonTodd portfolio company, is a full service business process outsourcing (BPO) firm headquartered in São Paulo and has nine offices in seven countries delivering business process outsourcing services to customers in 12 countries and territories.

“The merger supports our overall strategy to deliver the most comprehensive and highest quality BPO and ITO solutions on the market by bringing together two companies, each with strong offerings focused on the different needs of corporate customers,” says Marcelo França, chief executive of TAS. “This combination expands the geographic footprint and opportunity of both companies to provide complementary service offerings across the Americas.”

“The merger is a compliment to the leadership team of both organisations and will allow Toutatis to extend its business process management methodology across TAS’s entire portfolio of services. With a comprehensive service offering delivered across the Americas, including delivery centres in Brazil, Mexico and a soon-to-be established multilingual shared services centre in Dallas, TAS is uniquely positioned to serve a broad range of customers in the US and Latin America,” says Todd Furniss, chairman of the board of TAS.
