Lazard has appointed Ken Oliver Fritz as a managing director and co-head of investment banking in Germany.
He will serve as co-head with Eric Fellhauer, who has been a member of Lazard Investment Banking’s senior leadership team in Germany since 2006.
Fritz joins Lazard from Credit Suisse, where he was a managing director and head of investment banking for Germany and Austria, responsible for M&A, equity and debt capital market transactions.
“Lazard has a strong track record, built over 25 years, of serving clients in Germany, and Ken will be an important addition to our team," says Antonio Weiss, global head of investment banking of Lazard.
Over a nearly 20-year career, Fritz has led numerous private as well as public M&A and capital market transactions involving German and international clients. At Credit Suisse, which he joined in 1999, he was responsible for the investment banking business in Germany and Austria since 2010. Prior to that, he was head of M&A, Germany and Austria. Before joining Credit Suisse he was a member of the M&A team at Deutsche Bank, formerly Morgan Grenfell.
