Peterson Partners has added Matthew Day, former managing partner at Black Opal Equity, as a principal on its investment team.
In this position, Day will play an instrumental role in identifying sound investments that enhance the company’s portfolio. Day will also work with portfolio company management teams to accelerate growth.
Day has more than a decade of professional experience in finance and capital investments. Prior to spending nearly four years at Black Opal Equity, Day served as vice president at Macquarie Capital Advisors – both in Sydney, Australia and New York – where he completed investments in the healthcare, industrial, infrastructure and utilities sectors.
