Octopus Investments has appointed Rob Devey as an independent non-executive director.
Devey was previously the chief executive of Prudential UK and Europe and brings a wealth of experience in retail financial services.
During his four years at Prudential, Devey was responsible for developing the company’s business in the UK and Europe as it continued to meet the savings and retirement needs of its millions of customers. Under his leadership, the business delivered a strong performance through challenging economic conditions driven by increased operational efficiencies and a focus on customer engagement.
Devey has over 15 years’ experience in financial services. Prior to joining Prudential in 2009, he worked at Lloyds Banking Group across a number of senior management roles and was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in both Europe and the US.
