Venture capital firm Target Partners has appointed Dr Marc Gumpinger as a venture partner.
Gumpinger, a successful serial entrepreneur, will support founders of new businesses with his experience and contacts.
As a founder and CEO, Gumpinger himself previously received financing from Target Partners. He developed the mobile social gaming platform Scoreloop into a global market leader. Gumpinger's sale of the company to RIM (BlackBerry) in 2011 was one of the most successful exits of a German tech start-up in recent years.

Gumpinger was employed as an associate at Target Partners in 2008 before he co-founded Scoreloop AG.
