Private equity, infrastructure and real estate fund and corporate services provider Alter Domus has appointed Davinia Smith as country executive UK.
As Alter Domus enters its 11th year, the expansion of its London office and appointment of Smith is in line with the firm’s strategy to develop the UK as one of its key strategic locations in growing its business and developing its international client base.
Smith, who has 20 years of experience in financial services, will be responsible for driving the performance and growth of the UK business together with expanding new and existing client relationships in the region.
“The UK market is a key market for us and we are committed to developing an integrated platform for both local and international clients across multiple jurisdictions,” says Smith. “Alter Domus UK has a growing team of experienced and dedicated professionals and is able to provide a full suite of fund and corporate services to local and international clients.
“Furthermore with the firm’s important milestone of being granted a UK depositary licence in July 2014 by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) we are now able to provide full depositary services to private equity and real estate clients, including those investing in infrastructure and debt.”
