Private equity firm Spire Capital Partners has promoted Kerri McNicholas to Vice President following what the firm describes as ‘two and a half years of exceptional contributions to the Spire investment team’.
Most notably, McNicholas was a critical deal team member that was relied upon heavily as new investments were made out of Spire's current investment fund. In addition to assisting in the initial acquisitions of Lighthouse eDiscovery, Surgent Professional Education and Performance Assessment Network, McNicholas continues to work closely with portfolio company management teams to evaluate strategic acquisitions and grow the businesses.
In addition, Karl Rodger recently joined the Spire Capital Partners team as a Vice President. He has seven years of experience in private equity. Prior to joining Spire, Rosger was a Vice President at Dubin Clark & Company, where he helped the team close 12 acquisitions and served on the Board of Directors for a number of portfolio companies. He began his private equity career at The Riverside Company in 2007. Karl received an MBA from Duke University and a BA from Vanderbilt University.
Also recently joining the Spire Capital Partners team is Rupali Varma, who focuses on deal sourcing, execution and portfolio company management. Prior to joining Spire, Rupali served as an Analyst in the Project Finance & Infrastructure Group and the Media and Communications Investment Banking Group at Citigroup. Rupali holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Marquette University.
"Kerri has been a tremendous asset to Spire and we look forward to continuing to rely on her hard work. We are also very excited to introduce Karl and Rupali to our portfolio company management teams. The execution experience that Karl and Rupali bring to Spire will serve both our current management teams as well as all the future teams we will partner with. Spire is now well positioned to continue our significant growth," says Andy Armstrong, Spire Capital's Managing Partner.
