USPAAH exceeds GBP270,000 crowdfunding target

USPAAH, a marketplace-type app which brings the spa to people’s door in less than an hour, has exceeded its crowdfunding target by raising over GBP270,000 from 143 individual investors.

Iglika Ghouse, ex-UBS investment banker and now chief executive and founder of USPAAH, was a time-poor City worker who saw a gap in the market for high-quality on-demand wellness and beauty services.

The app connects clients to trained professionals in real time.

“We know our clients’ time is precious so we’ve made the booking process as easy as possible,” says Ghouse.

Londoners’ increasingly busy schedules have given rise to the use of various on-demand services.

In under a year of operation, USPAAH has amassed more than 6,500 downloads. The company raised over GBP270,000 from 143 individual investors which will be used to fuel the next stage of growth through investment in customer acquisition, further tech development and growing the team of Spaahristas, a term coined to refer to their professionals.

USPAAH is planning to become an integral part of their client’s busy lifestyles, by expanding their offering into a wider range of wellbeing services.

The company also aims to be the number one platform for freelance professionals to join by offering them a fairer and higher compensation than others.

“We’ve got a great opportunity to improve and truly make a positive change in the lives of both clients and professionals,” explains Ghouse. “And we are incredibly excited for the next stage of our growth.”
