Italian corporate and financial law firm Gattai, Minoli, Agostinelli & Partners has appointed Andrea Calvi as partner and head of the firm’s new financial regulatory practice.
The new team includes associates Nicolò Vignali and Alberto Prade.
Calvi has extensive experience in banking and capital markets, coupled with a thorough knowledge of Italian and international laws and regulations. In particular, he specialises in investment services and financial products, as well as in governance of investment and asset management firms.
Calvi joins from Studio Legale Galbiati, Sacchi e Associati. Previously, he practiced for twenty years at Studio Loiacono e Calvi.
Gattai, Minoli, Agostinelli & Partners founding and managing partner Bruno Gattai says: “We are very satisfied with Andrea’s hire. He is an extremely expert and competent lawyer in a strategic area for us, given the large number of purely financial transactions we usually handle, as well as of mergers and acquisitions in the financial services sector. Furthermore, regulatory is a high growth practice and this expansion of competences strengthens our market position”.
