GCA Altium, a global M&A advisory firm, has appointed Oliver Vaughan as managing director of its London office to expand its business services offerings and manage its relationships with the financial sponsor community.
Vaughan previously worked at GCA Altium between 2014 and 2017, after which he joined independent SAP specialist, Edenhouse as CEO. With over 12 years of industry experience, Vaughan was part of the GCA Altium team that acted as exclusive financial advisor to Edenhouse on securing minority investment by private equity house ECI Partners in 2016.
As managing director of GCA Altium’s London office, Vaughan will strengthen corporate finance capacity in the business services sector, as well as focus on financial sponsor coverage, including leading and coordinating the firm’s efforts with private equity in the UK.
Vaughan’s appointment complement’s GCA Altium’s recent international growth with FY18 total revenues topping GBP180 million, a 35 per cent rise from FY17 and a threefold increase over the last five years. This growth is underpinned by the group’s global expansion strategy; GCA Altium have opened five new offices across Asia and Europe. The firm is focused on establishing a presence in the technology, industrial, services and consumer sectors.
