Actum Group, a provider of private equity deal flow data and value creation intelligence, has appointed Hamilton Matthews as chair of the board. Matthews brings experience in data analytics and information services, with experience guiding organisations through periods of growth, transformation, and value creation.
He was previously chief executive officer of Acuris, a business intelligence platform known for products such as Mergermarket, Debtwire, and Inframation. As chair, he will work closely with the Board and executive leadership team to support corporate governance, strategic oversight, and sustainable growth.
Co-Founders Paul McLoughlin, Raouf Fria, and Ben Rumble said that Matthews’s experience would be invaluable as the company looks to “scale our platform, accelerate growth, and continue delivering excellence and long-term value”.
