Adams Street Partners (Adams Street), a private markets investment management firm with more than $61bn in assets under management, has promoted Emily Shiau and Nolan Pauker to Partners on its Private Credit Team.
Both Shiau and Pauker are longstanding senior members of the Private Credit team and have been integral to the success of the strategy and support all aspects of the decision-making process, including sourcing, structuring, reviewing, and negotiating deal opportunities. Both are based in the firm’s New York City office.
Shiau joined the firm in 2016 and was recognised as one of PEI’s Women of Influence in Private Markets in 2023 for her outstanding contributions to the industry and achievements throughout her career. Prior to Adams Street, Shiau held positions at Alvarez & Marsal within their Restructuring Investment Banking team and was in Leveraged Finance at Citigroup.
Pauker joined Adams Street in 2019. Prior to Adams Street, he worked at SLR Capital Partners, where he was a private credit investment professional for a number of years. He began his career in the Financial Restructuring Group of Houlihan Lokey Capital.
