AE Industrial (AEI), a private equity firm specialising in national security, aerospace, and industrial services has sold Altus Fire & Life Safety, a provider of regulation-mandated fire and life safety services for the Northeast USA to Apax Partners.
AEI acquired Altus, formerly known as Cross-Fire & Security Co agree years ago, and has supported both the organic growth of the business and nine strategic acquisitions, significantly expanding its service offerings and geographic reach.
Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Altus was advised by Lincoln International. Apax was advised by William Blair and Solomon Partners.
