Agilitas Private Equity (Agilitas), a pan-European mid-market private equity firm, has closed the buy-out of Tietoevry Tech Services, a division of Tietoevry, and a leading IT service provider in the Nordic region.
Following complete of the deal Tietoevry Tech Services has rebranded as Vivicta, with a formal announcement countering the new branding expected in due course.
With over fifty years of experience serving Nordic and global customers, Tietoevry Tech Services is a provider of “mission-critical IT services in cloud, data, applications and infrastructure in Finland, Sweden and Norway”, according to a press statement. The company serves as a comprehensive, full-stack provider of IT solutions, delivering end-to-end IT transformation services ranging from data and cloud services, application development, cybersecurity, automation, IT infrastructure, and managed services.
Agilitas is working closely with the Company’s management team to build on its strong fundamentals – such as its well-invested asset base with data centres across the Nordic region – and establish a standalone business under the new brand Vivicta. CEO Satu Kiiskinen will continue to lead the Company with the backing of Agilitas and accelerate the Company’s growth of cloud-based data and applications, optimising and enhancing its mission-critical IT solutions.
The Company will continue to invest significantly in automation and artificial intelligence to further develop its customer offering.
