John Holton, an experienced private equity Investment Management Partner at Akin has relocated from London to Singapore in a strategic move aimed at bolstering the firm’s engagement with the Indian and Southeast Asian markets.
Holton’s practice serves Indian asset managers seeking to raise capital in the United States and other international markets. From Singapore, Holton will serve Indian and other Asian clients within the same time zones.
With nearly four decades of experience launching private funds, Holton delivers strategic and timely insights to clients, and has worked with Indian asset managers for more than 20 years. He began his career in Boston, where for more than 25 years he helped guide the expanding private funds industry, representing venture capital managers, private equity shops and hedge funds. In 2011, he relocated to London to better serve European and Asian clients.
