The Group has reinforced its investment banking capabilities by incorporating a Real Estate & Hospitality team in Paris, and two Managing Directors in Frankfurt focused on Industrials and Technology.

Based in Paris, the new Real Estate & Hospitality sector team consists of five professionals, including three partners, each with between 15 and 20 years of experience in the sector. Year-to-date, Alantra has hired more than 25 senior professionals in high growth sectors such as Healthcare, Technology, Real Estate, and FIG, and added a debt advisory team in Italy.

These diverse and specialised capabilities have resulted in record deal activity for the Firm. As of 30 September 2021, Alantra has advised on a record-breaking more than 170 deals globally, including 109 M&A transactions, for a total volume of EUR10 billion. This performance merited the Firm to rank as the No3 independent advisor in Europe and No1 advisor to Private Equity Firms in Europe, per Mergermarket.

Commenting on the incorporations, Miguel Hernandez, CEO of Alantra Investment Banking, says: “The appointments of Yonel, Richard, Jérémie, Sven, and Matthias reflect our continued
