European alternative credit investment specialist AlbaCore Capital Group (AlbaCore) has promoted Davide Chiesa, to Partner, Head of Research. Chiesa originally joined the firm last year in the newly-created role of Head of Research, leading the investment team’s credit research analysis.
According to a press statement, during his time at AlbaCore, Chiesa has led the investment team’s credit research analysis and “bolstered the team’s research capabilities, significantly enhancing the quality of investment ideas”.
The investment team performs exhaustive, bottom-up, fundamental research to identify attractive investment opportunities. This work informs and supports AlbaCore’s Investment Committee decision-making process across AlbaCore’s suite of strategies, including Senior Direct Lending, Private Capital Solutions, Dislocation and CLOs.
