The report cites unnamed sources as revealing that the majority of the the commitments to Altas Partners Holding III were secured by the autumn of last year, reflecting current fundraising challenges.
The fund’s first investment will be Altas Partners’ previously announced $1 billion investment in Mercer Advisors – alongside Genstar Capital and Oak Hill Partners – its first investment in two years, which is expected to close in the next few months.
Altas Partners’ previous fund closed on $3 billion in 2019.
