Alteria Capital targeting $438m for third debt fund

Alteria Capital Advisors is looking to raise up to INR35 billion ($438 million) for its third debt fund, according to a report by DailyAlts. The Indian venture debt firm’s latest funding, will reportedly be in the form of a dual structure consisting of a primary debt fund and a secondary pool that will be deployed as working capital finance for startups.

The Indian venture debt firm’s latest funding, will reportedly be in the form of a dual structure consisting of a primary debt fund and a secondary pool that will be deployed as working capital finance for startups.

The report cites internal company documents as revealing that Alteria is targeting INR20 billion for the primary debt vehicle and up to INR15 billion for the the second tier ‘Scheme 2’ fund.

Kotak Mahindra Wealth Management and IIFL Wealth Management are both reportedly at an advanced stage of evaluating investments in the fund.
