Ama Capital has expanded its team following appointment of nine sector specialists, including ex-Olympian Adrian Moorhouse, just one month after the addition of three Non-Executive Partners.
The nine sector experts – including Moorhouse, Peter Barrett, Simon Burke, Carl Fisher, Clare Gill, Mark Goodyear, James Hill, Simon Mason, and Grant Skinner – have all invested in Ama Capital and are fully part of the internal team.
Between them, they have successfully founded and/or led multiple institutionally backed and listed businesses, occupying senior roles at well-established organisations including Accenture, Virgin Entertainment, Mubadala, Dowty, the Co-op Group, Elixirr, Genworth Financial, and the BBC.
Operating within the Ama Capital team, these experts will provide SMEs with their knowledge and real-world business experience to boost commercial activity, harness talent development and deliver operational efficiencies.
They join Founding Partners Miles Otway and Ed Ransome, alongside three recently appointed Non-Executive Partners; Andrew Tyler, Alistair Hardie, and Tony Buffin.
As an investment firm, Ama Capital focuses on providing flexible capital to profitable businesses in financial and professional services, business services and specialist engineering & industrials. It will invest up to £25m into a range of opportunities, including management buy outs, growth, retirement sales and carve outs.
