Apollo Global Management has agreed to acquire the automotive interiors division of Forvia SE in a transaction valued at €1.82bn ($2.1bn), according to a report by Bloomberg.
The report cites a statement from the company as confirming that the deal, which remains subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals, is expected to complete in the second half of the year.
Forvia, created in 2022 through the combination of Faurecia and Hella, develops a range of automotive technologies spanning areas such as automated driving and energy management.
The divestment of its interiors unit – responsible for components including door panels and centre consoles – forms part of Forvia’s Ignite strategy, aimed at simplifying the group’s structure and supporting future growth.
