Arc International, which produces glass tableware under well-known brands including Luminarc, Arcoroc, Cristal d'Arques Paris and Chef & Sommelier, has secured a EUR60 million equity injection from an investor group led by Peaked Hill Partners (PHP).
The investment completes the group’s recapitalisation and provides funds for the modernisation of the Group’s main production site in Arques, France.
In addition, the French State, through the Fonds de Développement Economique et Social (FDES) and Banque Natixis, has loaned the company EUR48.5 million, of which EUR26 million will be reimbursed within three weeks following closing. The remainder will mature within six months.
Founded in 1825, Arc International this year celebrates the 190th anniversary of its inception and remains today the global leader in the glass tableware industry.
