Argand Partners, a New York and San Francisco Bay Area-based middle market buyout firm, has promoted Joyce Schnoedl to Partner, Dino Sawaya to Principal, and Janel Maki to Operations Manager.

“Joyce provides important leadership across our firm in sourcing and executing complex deals. Earlier in her career, Schnoedl had worked at Castle Harlan, JH Whitney, and Goldman Sachs. She graduated Cum Laude from Harvard University with a BA in Economics and received her MBA from the Harvard Business School.

“Dino has demonstrated strong investment acumen and has a proven ability to balance the many competing demands of complex deals. We are excited to recognise Dino’s important contributions to the firm,” says Heather Faust, Partner of Argand. Sawaya has most recently been a Vice President at Argand. He previously worked at CHAMP Private Equity and Deutsche Bank. Sawaya graduated with Distinction from The University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Financial Economics and holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honors from The University of Sydney.

“Janel plays a central role on the operations team and has taken on increasing responsibility related to managing the firm’s administration, reporting, and compliance,“ says Joe Del Toro, Partner of Argand. Ms. Maki has most recently been an Executive Assistant to the CFO at Argand, working on fund administration and special projects.
