Arlington Capital Partners sells Octo to IBM

Arlington Capital Partners, a Washington, DC-based private equity firm, is to sell Octo, a pure-play digital modernisation solutions provider to the US federal government, to IBM. 

Arlington Capital Partners (Arlington Capital), a Washington, DC-based private equity firm, is to sell Octo, a pure-play digital modernisation solutions provider to the US federal government, to IBM. 

Arlington Capital first invested in Octo in early 2019 with the firm subsequently completing four acquisitions, expanding its healthcare footprint. 

Arlington Capital, which has approximately $7 billion of assets under management via six investment funds, focuses on middle market investment opportunities in growth industries including government services and technology, aerospace & defence, healthcare, and business services and software. 

The transaction is expected to close by the end of the calendar year, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
