Arma Partners has strengthened its senior team with the appointments of Mark Rodrigues and Dr Friedrich Froeschl as senior advisers in New York and Munich respectively.
Rodrigues has over 30 years’ experience in the global technology and financial services industries as an executive, investor and consultant, and currently holds several board positions with international fintech companies and advisory roles at venture capital and private equity firms focused on the sector.
Previously, Rodrigues was a global managing director and leader of strategic customers and solutions at Thomson Reuters, where he was responsible for managing the USD2.9 billion global revenue and commercial relationships of Thomson Reuters’s largest buy-side and sell-side client accounts. Prior to this, he held senior positions at New York-based private equity investor Aquiline Capital Partners; Oliver Wyman, the global management consulting firm; and American Management Systems (now CGI Group), one of the largest independent IT and business process services firms in North America, where he was the head of global financial services.
Froeschl’s operational, advisory and corporate governance experience across the technology ecosystem (software, services & systems), combined with his international network and perspectives, will further strengthen Arma’s global franchise in the DACH region and beyond, particularly in segments like Industry 4.0 & IoT, software and IT services.
During an almost 40-year career, Froeschl has held executive roles at Siemens AG, where he was member of the managing board and CEO of the company’s EUR 6 billion-plus IT services business, and Computer Sciences Corporation, where he was CEO for the DACH region. He has also served on the boards of Mphasis, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Amadeus and Bundesdruckerei Germany. He invested in and worked closely with the founders of Jive Software from 2009 through to the company’s IPO in 2012 and SuccessFactors from 2010 through to the sale of the business to SAP in 2013.
