Armen, an investment firm focused on acquiring stakes in private equity firms, has appointed Dominicus von Neree as Director of Investor Relations and Paul Kucerin as Managing Director, Head of DACH Investment, in its team in Germany.
Von Nere, a seasoned industry veteran, has played integral roles in setting up, implementing, fundraising, and managing two international private equity fund of funds with investments spanning fifteen GPs across diverse asset classes and geographies. He will primarily focus on fundraising for Armen, but will also spearhead fundraising efforts for Armen’s portfolio companies in the region.
Kucerin, has extensive previous experience gained at tier one institutions including Golding, MEAG and Kontora, where he was in charge of private equity and alternative investments. He joins from Hamburger Pensionsverwaltung eG, where he served as the Head of Private Equity & Private Debtm, with responsibility for the strategic portfolio construction in Private Equity and Private Debt, including sourcing and execution of new opportunities across Europe, North America and Asia, in addition to driving evolution in investment and due diligence processes. Kucrein will take the lead in developing and building out Armen’s presence in the DACH market, with responsibility for sourcing, assessing, negotiating and monitoring investment opportunities on behalf of the firm’s collective investment vehicles.
